Conservative Group Calls Jeb Bush “Unelectable” because of His Support of Hillary Clinton

A group calling itself For America that was founded by conservative Brent Bozell has just released a damning video calling GOP Presidential candidate Jeb Bush… “Unelectable.”

Their argument is interesting and compelling. Instead of discussing Bush’s fondness for the Common Core, or his support of amnesty, or even how he loves that the NSA spies on Americans, For America claims that Bush is unelectable because of his craven support for Hillary Clinton in the weeks and months after the Benghazi debacle.

Almost a year after Benghazi, Bush, who was chairman of the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, presented the “Liberty Medal” to Hillary as an award for her long history of public service. Many conservatives were very unhappy with the way the situation unfolded because they felt that Clinton deserved prion for her part in the Benghazi scandal… not an award.

Here’s the “Unelectable” Ad:

Brent Bozell believes that Bush’s support of Clinton in the days following the Benghazi travesty makes him unelectable, because he wouldn’t be able to use Benghazi against Clinton like other candidates would…

“If Jeb Bush is her opponent she will make him look ridiculous. Anytime Jeb calls Hillary ‘Obama 2.0,’ any criticism he makes of her awful record as Secretary of State, any time he shows how much of an extremist she is on the issues, will be completely dismissed when she reminds everyone that he gave her an award for public service. As it stands, Jeb has absolutely no credibility to criticize her because he has already anointed her as a great public servant; and he inexplicably did so almost a year to the day of the Benghazi massacre.”

He makes a good case – but then, I already thought Jeb Bush was an awful GOP candidate anyway…
