What We’re Reading February 19, 2015
We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!
It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.
So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Thursday February 19, 2015.
Jeb Bush’s Camp had laid some serious groundwork going into the fall of 2014 as they began preparing the nation for the inevitable Jeb Bush run for office. On Wednesday, Bush gave a speech at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs where he took the President to task for his terrible efforts at foreign policy. “Under this administration, we are inconsistent and indecisive,” Bush will say, according to prepared remarks released by his political action committee, Right to Rise. “We have lost the trust and the confidence of our friends. We definitely no longer inspire fear in our enemies.”
The younger Bush also took the time to distance himself from both his father and his brother. “I love my father and my brother. I admire their service to the nation and the difficult decisions they had to make,” he says in prepared remarks. “But I am my own man – and my views are shaped by my own thinking and own experiences.”
The Big Money GOP donors don’t care what we in the grassroots want or believe… they want every candidate to be just like Jeb Bush on illegal immigration. (Which is why the GOP Establishment is not much different from the Democrat Establishment on anything… because the MONEY in our Party is liberal.)
A New CNN Poll has some bad news for Jeb Bush, though: 50% of the country see Hillary Clinton as the candidate of the future, while 64% see Jeb Bush as the past.
Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) is planning on an April announcement about his run for the White House.
President Obama and the Democrats think that he changed the country… but the truth is that all he changed was his own party.
