What We’re Reading February 17, 2015

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Tuesday February 17, 2015.

The wave of violence and hatred against Jews in Europe continues. Just days after a violent attack by a Muslim gunman on a synagogue in Denmark, and just weeks after the Charlie Hebdo attack that also saw gunman murder several Jews in a Kosher deli, some disgusting people have desecrated a Jewish cemetery in France.

“Around 300 tombs have been defaced,” said a source in the investigation. It’s an image of desolation,” president of the Alsace region Philippe Richert told AFP, describing how Jewish steles, stone or wooden slabs often used for commemorative purposes, were knocked down and even some slabs at the gravesites had been lifted. “One doesn’t knock over heavy steles like that dating from the 19th century very easily. It was a deliberate act of destruction,” he said.

Obama’s foreign policy debacle in Libya is just more evidence that President Obama’s “Plan” for the war on terror is a big loser.

The best way for us to take the fight to ISIS would be to team up with Russia. A USA – Russia alliance in the War on Terror would be ISIS’ worst nightmare.

It seems that political operatives who live outside the Washington, D.C. bubble are all pretty sure that Hillary Clinton has a very long way to go before she can safely lock up a Presidential nomination.

The New York Times continues their record of horrible reporting. They’ve been forced to issue a retraction on a story they did about Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.

Is Marco Rubio (R-FL) the 2016 candidate with the most to lose?
