What We’re Reading February 9, 2015

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Monday February 9, 2015.

Georgia has passed a bill moving their primary date up and is planning to form a new massive Southern Super Tuesday primary with Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Texas, Oklahoma, Virginia and perhaps even Florida! It would create a seismic change in the way candidates campaigned for election.

In the latest poll of New Hampshire voters, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush (R-FL) has grabbed a narrow lead over his competitors.

Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal (R-LA) is a serious candidate for the GOP nomination to the White House and he has a long history accomplishments to hang his hat on (unlike a certain female Democrat). His biggest selling point may well be the work he has done on healthcare reform both at the state level and at the national level.

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie (R-NJ) really wants to be President, but thus far his campaign has left a lot to be desired. Christie is not doing anything to win over conservatives, and he is further alienating himself from the establishment money as well.

NBC shouldn’t be whining about Brian Williams’ recent problems with truth… they’ve known for a while that Williams’ story was way overblown. Now NBC is worried that there are other skeletons in Brian Williams’ closet. (Like this story, and this one too!)

The New York post says that there is no reason to believe that Williams’s “mistake” was an innocent one either.

The London Telegraph has a new exposé calling man-made climate change “the biggest science scandal ever”!
