Communist New York City Mayor Pays Man who Attacked Police Officers with a Machete!

How crazy have things gotten in New York City in recent days?

So crazy, that now even criminals are earning good paydays from the city.

Back in 2010 Ruhim Ullah, of Brooklyn was shot by police after attacking them with a machete. The officers shot Ullah in the leg in an effort to keep him from harming anyone while wielding a machete. Ullah eventually pled guilty to menacing the officers, but then in an odd turn of events, the machete wielding maniac sued the city and police for his injuries.

Now, the New York Post is reporting that the city’s lawyers have reportedly settled with Mr. Ullah and have indeed paid the man $5,000 for his troubles!

macheteIn a decision that earned City Hall and its lawyers a rare but justified outburst from top cop Bill Bratton, de Blasio’s team wrote a check to a machete-wielding thug who was shot by cops after he threatened them.

The payoff to Ruhim Ullah to drop his lawsuit was only $5,000, but the principle it represented — that cops who shot him did something wrong — sent Bratton into orbit.

“It’s outrageous that the city Law Department is continuing to not support the men and women of this department as they go about their duties,” he thundered. “Our cops work very hard trying to keep this city safe, and if they’re not going to be backed up by the city law office, we need to do something about this.”

It is outrageous that the city would pay a man for committing a crime and placing their police officers in danger… but this is all part of new Mayor Bill de Blasio’s plan to “cut costs” on the litigation front. De Blasio has told his lawyers to try to expedite every case against them as cheaply and as quickly as possible… which leads to situations like this, where a man is seemingly rewarded for his evil.

While the lawyers may have only made the deal in an effort to save the city money and get the case closed as quickly as possible, what they actually did was make it seem as though the police did something wrong in Mr. Ullah’s case. It was a bad move, forced because of bad policies from a liberal (nay communist) Mayor.
