So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Wednesday December 31, 2014.

126 Police Officers were killed in the line of duty across the USA in 2014, which represents a 26% increase in on the job fatalities for police when compared to 2013. How bad would things really be in America if our police forces were smaller and more surgical than blunt?

Conservative GOP Congressmen are planning a show of force when they vote for House Speaker in early January. It seems that several of them are planning to refuse to vote for John Boehner (R-OH) as Speaker.

“Right now, I’ve been meeting with a small group, and we — about 16, 18 — and we’re hoping to have a name of a sitting member of Congress that we can call out their name,” said North Carolina Rep. Walter Jones.

The US government does not believe that North Korea could have pulled off their attack on Sony without help. In fact, the FBI and other agencies have been briefed on an alternate theory for the origin of the attack – which points off to former Sony employees and not to North Korea.

Jeb Bush talks a big game… but he NEEDS conservatives.
