What We’re Reading December 18, 2014

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Thursday December 18, 2014.

Don’t look now but the GOP’s public image is making a comeback and that has the left very worried.

Jeb Bush thinks he can convince the base to follow him even though they disagree with him about the Common Core and about Amnesty.

Michelle Malkin argues that Jeb Bush is the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Waterboy.

Well, I hate to break it to Jeb Inc. There’s no popular groundswell for Bush Part III. None, zip, nada. Independents, progressives and conservatives are all weary of the entrenched bipartisan dynasties that rule Washington and ruin America. Only in the hallowed bubble of D.C. and New York City elites does a Jeb Bush presidential bid make any sense.

The pundits in Washington are doing their best to spin these stories about the omnibus voting fiasco as a terrible blow for Ted Cruz and the conservatives. I think the media is missing the real story. As Cruz’s colleagues grow more weary with him… the grassroots fall deeper in “love.”

Charles Cooke at the National Review Online tries to help everyone understand why Gun Control Advocates are also abject LIARS.

Ed Schultz at MSNBC was trying really hard to make the RNC’s leader Reince Priebus look bad, but of course… the liberal hacks failed miserably.
