Happy Chanukah from Adam Sandler, Circa 1995

As a non-Jewish American who grew up in the 80’s and 90’s I can remember being delighted when I first heard “The Chanukah Song” on Saturday Night Live. Even now, almost 20 years later, the song (and most of Sandler’s other work from the 90’s) never fails to make me smile.

Today on this, the second day of Chanukah, I hope a little trip down memory lane brings some joy to your day!

Happy Hanukkah! Or Happy Chanukah! I’ve never really been sure about the “proper” spelling.
