No Comfort from Obama on Terrorism

Did you find comfort in Obama’s words and analysis regarding the murder of five men attending prayer service in a synagogue on Tuesday? His words of wisdom and comfort were “Both sides (Palestinian Terrorists and innocent unarmed Israelis attending prayer services) need to work harder [for peace].” I’m sure he found his own thoughts on the murders infinitely uplifting, but they left me cold.

I once liked Fox News. Still do, some. But I’ve recently started reaching for the remote when certain personalities are on the screen. It annoys me for some guy to have very interesting guests on, but not allow them more than a few minutes and constantly step all over their words…and espousing the opinions of the host to the near complete exclusion of the thoughts and opinions of the erudite guest.

This is becoming a pattern on Fox. However, a few nights ago one of the frequent guests was on Megyn Kelly’s show (I think), and while other panel guests were trying to politely express their disdain for the terrorists and ISIS…one guest couldn’t contain himself any longer and said (roughly) that “there will be no peace until we kill every one of these bastards.” To me this sort of candor is refreshing. I also appreciated the direct and succinct manner in his delivery. Most of all, I agreed with his analysis, even though some of the details of his plan were a little sketchy. His few short comments stole the show.

Meanwhile…our own president (aka; Mr. Nonsequitor) cannot even bring himself to admit that a WAR is being waged on the World by 1) child beheading, 2) female child mutilating, 3) cowardly IED utilizing, 4) axe wielding murderous, 5) mass murdering, 6) church burning, 7) Jew and Christian defaming, 8) low I.Q.  9) goat molesting (can I say this in an email?)…Islamic TERRORISTS!

And over in the Senate the Pipeline was shot down. Which perfectly illustrates why those 1) cowardly, 2) low I.Q., 3) goat molesti…ooops! Wait a minute…I got carried away for a moment… those worthless illegitimate offspring of goats …Senators had to go. Which will (hopefully) prevent the Supreme Court from being corrupted further by the White House during the next two years. (But, in fairness it must be remembered that Obama’s two SCOTUS appointments have nearly always sided against him in Constitutional matters before them.)

Which leaves only one branch of our government yet to be purged of dimwitted Islamo/commie/socialists.

There! I said it…and I feel good. Wait a minute…I think a couple black-windowed SUVs just pulled up out front! How do they know so quickly? Those NSA SOBs are fast! I’ll have to cut this jeremiad short. Gotta’ go!

I am an attorney in Las Vegas who has always wanted to draw political cartoons, partly because I like drawing, but mostly because I enjoy ridiculing pompous know-nothings. Verbally debating them gets nowhere. They don't know they're beaten. But poking fun at them in a drawing leaves them without recourse or rebuttal. What can they do...? Call me names, whine, cuss me ... or maybe draw a witty riposte? Unlikely.
