Detroit Reporter Squats on a Squatter – Hilarity and Justice Ensue

Squatting is a big problem in Detroit. Squatting is when someone moves into a vacant home that is owned by someone else. In some states and cities it can be enormously difficult for the rightful homeowner to eject the squatter from their home. Recently, investigative journalist with Detroit’s Fox 2 News, Charlie LeDuff, learned about a case where a homeowner was arrested after calling the police because someone was squatting in her home. LeDuff decided to report on the story himself and in the process of his reporting got justice for the homeowner.
