The Wendy Davis Team is Still Making Fun of Greg Abbot’s Disability

The Wendy Davis campaign has made a lot of mistakes (See here and here) over the last few months, and they aren’t showing any signs of slowing down…

Watch as State Rep. Dawnna Dukes makes fun of Greg Abbott’s disability at a Wendy Davis event in Pflugerville, Texas from last week.

“And then we have this guy who kind of just rolls around thinking that he can get tort reform for himself but take it away from everybody else in the state of Texas.”

wendy davisThe Davis campaign is getting crushed, losing by almost 20 points to Republican Greg Abbott, so they are throwing everything they can against the wall and hoping that something sticks. Thus far, nothing is. The thing is, at some point doesn’t a campaign like this become counter productive for the future? Won’t Texas voters remember this in the future? Won’t the Davis campaign dragging this race through the mud work against future Democrat campaigns (Wendy Davis’ in particular)?

Either way, I wonder how deep of a hole the Davis campaign can dig.
