What We’re Reading October 2, 2014
We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!
It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker (R-WI) is continuing to build his lead against his opponent in the November midterm election Democrat Mary Burke. Sticking with the Mary Burke theme – First Lady Michelle Obama was in Wisconsin a few days ago to campaign for Burke, but the big news from the event was what Mrs. Obama’s handlers told local reporters.
“[A]ssigned to cover Michelle Obama’s speech today and was told by a Mary Burke aide and one for the White House that I could not speak to the people in the crowd. To say that I was creeped out is an understatement. This is what reporters do in America: we speak to people,” Kissinger posted. “At least that’s how I’ve been doing things — at all kinds of political events — since 1979.”
Democrats are pouring money into the Kentucky Senate race, and if they lose, it could really hurt their chances elsewhere.
Oh and then there is this… Argentina’s President is telling the world that the USA is trying to assassinate her. Seriously.
