Remember When Biden Laughed at Romney for Suggesting We’d Bomb Syria?
This may be the most amazing piece of video that Joe Biden has ever produced… and he has made a lot of heart-stoppingly funny videos.
Just watch it and then we’ll talk a little about it.
“He [Romney] said it was a mistake to end the war in Iraq and bring all of our warriors home,” Biden told an audience in York, Penn., on September 2, 2012. “He said it was a mistake to set an end date for our warriors in Afghanistan and bring them home. He implies by the speech that he’s ready to go to war in Syria and Iran. He wants to move from cooperation to confrontation with Putin’s Russia. And these guys say the president’s out of touch?”
First off – thanks to the folks at the National Review for digging this up.
Second, is this terrifying, hilarious, astounding… or some new adjective that I haven’t yet considered? It adds to the greater picture that the Obama administration was wildly wrong from the very beginning, so it’s funny. These guys are still in charge, so it’s terrifying. All of it is so completely ridiculous… so we’re astounded that Americans would actually vote for these fools.
In a short 35 second clip, VP Biden makes fun of Romney for his views of Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Iran and Russia.
On Afghanistan – the Taliban has resurged and may soon be part of the ruling government once again.
On Iraq – Romney correctly predicted that our withdrawal would leave a power vacuum allowing extremists to flood in and find a new safe haven.
On Syria – Romney was prescient and was already considering what might need to happen two years down the road.
On Iran – today Iran is closer to nuclear weapons than ever before and because of the mess the Obama administration made in Iraq and Syria, Iran has more leverage now than ever before.
On Russia – are you kidding? Russia has used the Obama years to become the big bully in Eastern Europe and Asia. Russia has spent the last 2 years flexing her muscles and forcing President Obama to kowtow to them at every turn.
Romney wasn’t perfect… but boy was he a better option than team Obama.
