Letter: A Bike Killing
Jill Tarlov was killed in Central Park, New York by a bicyclist, Jason Marshall. What midget brained fool would not realize that bikes are dangerous and sneak up on us from various directions with little warning?
Marshall’s screams did nothing to avoid the accident.
Last year the New York Post published a letter of mine in which I said, “A few bikes will do nothing for the environment and will cause a lot of injuries. We don’t need bikes going the wrong way down a street and mowing us over.”
Well, we have more bikes, no less pollution, and a series of people injured and killed by bikes.
Tarlov is dead because of liberals who want to be environmentally correct. But one thing we can be sure of, liberals take responsibility for nothing. Their motto is “forgiveness,” particularly for their own sins. They are more interested in ideas than in life.
I hate bikes. A bike ran over Jill Tarlov, whoever she is? Whoever we all are, we are subject to the sins of sloppy administration that is more concerned with social justice than keeping us alive and well.
