We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!
It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.
So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Friday September 12, 2014.
The President has finally kind-of, sort-of outlined a basic strategy for dealing with ISIS – but the plan is plagued with pitfalls and a lot could go wrong. Sadly, it looks like two of our closest allies – the United Kingdom and Germany – will not be joining us in the first part of the President’s plan. Meanwhile, our intelligence community seems to be wondering if we should even be getting involved at all.
The President’s plan also has some in the media wondering when President Obama decided to wage a “preemptive” war in Iraq and where he got the idea from. (Ok, I’m just snarking a bit on that last part… but it’s so interesting to see President Obama do something he campaigned so aggressively against once upon a time.)
Is no one else freaked out by the Democrat Party’s overt attempt at subverting the First Amendment?
It is way passed time for Americans to be getting angry about illegal immigration and the Democrats’ attempts to ram amnesty down our throats.
All of a sudden Senator John McCain is “Mr. Popular” again.
