This past Sunday Nancy Pelosi was on CNN to speak to Candy Crowley about Russia and the problems in the Middle East. Sadly those important issues took up most of her time on CNN’s State of the Union, and Mrs. Pelosi didn’t have any time to talk about how terrible Republicans are.
But you know Nancy — where there’s a will, there’s a way!
So in the final moments of her time with Crowley, as Crowley was thanking her for appearing on the show, Pelosi took a parting shot at the folks across the aisle.
“Right, well that just — I think it’s important to note, though, that through all of this, the Republicans are trying to sue the president — on a path to impeach the president — while we’re trying to create jobs and have stability in our country and in the world,” she blurted out. “And I’m sorry that we didn’t get a chance to talk more about that.”
Awwwww… sad face for Nancy Pelosi. Real problems in the real world kept her from saying nasty things about the Republicans. Life is hard.
Anywho, that wasn’t the entire exchange. Nancy also took some time during that interview to cover for Obama’s absence as President. He has pretty much disappeared as President and has retired to the fundraising and golf-playing circuit. Watch Nancy do her best to defend President “Ain’t Nobody Got Time for That” Obama and his perpetual vacation.
“Putin is going to do what Putin is going to do. As the president said, Russia is now a regional power. Some of what we see comes from insecurity. Putin is insecure about Russia’s role in the world now.”
“He’s a KGB guy who happens to be the president of Russia and he’s going to do what he’s going to do no matter who else is in charge any other place in the world. So I would not judge his actions or his motivations by anything other than he is rooted in the KGB, insecure about Russia’s diminished role in the world.”
Riiiiiight, Nancy. Obama is a big strong tough leader and Putin is insecure. That’s what’s happening…
I’m not sure if she’s just a compulsive liar or actually delusional about what is going on in the world today, but either way… it’s a really bad thing that she is one of our nation’s leaders.
