Puppy Hate?

A Puppy of Hate

I can’t continue hating Obama for his intentional mistakes or I will become

A puppy of hate and snap at my own socks.

When I was ten my dog ate all the shoes

In the house.

He liked the stench.

The Democrats like Obama’s Progressive stink

And chew on Obama’s naïve ideology

Like rawhide.

Whenever he speaks I put my fingers in my ears.

His ideas are waxen.

He is a flake in a summer without snow.

When Obama first came to office people hated me for not praising

His possibilities.

He won a Nobel Prize for nothing.

He was a zero with all the numbers missing.

He was what could have been if he had been not.

He was exciting like a stripper at a club in Kentucky

Except he was wearing clothes,

Hiding behind Teleprompters,

Reciting speeches written by cornballs in a bowl of clichéd Cheerios.

Now I refuse to keep hating him.

I don’t want to become twine in the yarn of his failure.

I don’t want to be the tale America is telling,

Full of sound and fury,

Signifying nothing but an idle voice in the wind when the afternoon is calm

And lies bluster the possibility of peace.

He is Shakespeare’s fool without his intelligence.

He is the failed character in a tragedy far more dangerous than literature.

He is the adolescence in Hamlet;

The decisions that never come to good.

Ophelia is drowning.

Polonius and Laertes are dead.

Real people are dying in the Ukraine, Benghazi, Iraq, and the desert

Of the Affordable Healthcare Act.

A stupid man is not stupid but is so clever that he turns his failures

Into re-election.

It is us who are stupid.

Not me.

I didn’t vote for the workings of what wouldn’t work.

We are living in the kennel of a President who feeds us lies.

I do not like the taste of Pinocchio’s even though I don’t read

The liberal Washington Post.

It’s a dog’s life.

At least they carry the newspapers in their mouths.

The Democrats don’t read them.

Ignorance is strongly felt opinion spit out by rhetorical pundits.

Even dogs were smart enough to not be stupid enough to vote for Obama.
