Obama is the Unworthy President

I do not think that Obama earned the right to honor the dead at Arlington National Cemetery just because he repeatedly lied to the American public and managed to catch a second term as President.

As an unknown, opaque President it is hypocritical for Obama to lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Obama does not even know himself.  He is unknown.  His purported transparency is not there.

If Obama ever spoke above one of my dead relatives I would feel humiliated, insulted, vilified. Out of respect for my relative I would have to leave the ceremony.  A prayer for the dead by a superficial pontificator becomes a prescription for limbo.

I am not being disrespectful.  I am respecting the sadness of death. Obama’s position as President is neither here nor there.  It is an accident of political salesmanship.

We do not expect Obama or many of our other Presidents to write their own speeches, but Obama’s delivery is meretricious and obviously apocryphal.  His words are written on the chalkboard of a dusty façade.  He does not seem to respect the military or American exceptionalism.  He does not want America to be a first rate power.  He has campaigned against it.

obamajesterWhenever I watch him dictating the chalk squeaks and his hypocrisy goes right through me. He puts me on the edge of his falseness.  I mock his immature audience and the Democrats who adhere to party rather than truth.

Obama says, “Last Memorial Day, I stood here and spoke about how, for the first time in nine years, Americans were no longer fighting and dying in Iraq. Today, a transition is underway in Afghanistan, and our troops are coming home.”

Obama didn’t reduce the fighting in Iraq.  David Petraeus did through his surge which Obama was against.  Iraq is less stable since Obama pulled troops out.  Al-Qaeda has enjoyed a resurgence. Remember Benghazi where Obama tried to hide the role of al-Qaeda behind a superficial video.

Obama pretends that he has stopped jihad.  Tell that to the three hundred Nigerian girls who are captured by Boko Haram.

Under Obama’s leadership more Americans were killed in Afghanistan then when Bush was in office.  Once again Obama is taking a bite out of the apple of other people’s accomplishments.

Obama personalizes everything and talks about a letter he received from a Naval officer as if he was a good friend, then he mentions Captain Sara Cullen who died in a helicopter crash, Staff Sergeant Frankie Phillips who died from a roadside bomb in Afghanistan, and Staff Sergeant Eric Christian who  died on his fifth tour of duty.

Obama goes on to brag that he is a guardian of the severely injured or the dead, “I feel it every time I meet a wounded warrior, every time I visit Walter Reed, and every time I grieve with a Gold Star family.”

If Obama were really so empathetic he would be paralyzed with depression.  I think he loves himself more than the battlefield dead.  He shamelessly reads his speeches like he believes himself.  Maybe he does? Maybe Hulk Hogan believed that he was really wrestling?

Obama then talks about a mother, Candie Averette, who wrote him, “Please don’t forget about my child and every other Marine and soldier over there who proudly choose to defend their country.”

What difference does it make whether Obama remembers her child?  Does she really care or is she vying for attention?

Obama is not God. He cannot make the dead eternal.  He is a megaphone shouting to the vulnerable.  He is a politician politicking.  Those who listen to him listen at their peril.  It implies that they are suckers and not too bright.

Obama goes on to conclude, “May God bless the fallen and all those who serve. And may God continue to bless the United States of America. (Applause.)”

I could say such palaver easily.  And I am an agnostic.  His words are chalk on the blackboard of false souls.

Does Obama even believe in God?  He attended Reverend Wright’s church of hatred.  He went to the madras to study the Muslim religion in Indonesia with his stepfather.

Obama is the forgotten President.  He is the promise that was never fulfilled.  He allowed the veterans to be wounded and then wasn’t there to put them back together again like Humpty Dumpty. He abandoned the eggshells.  He should hold no one in memoriam. He has not earned the right to make borrowed speeches.
