Alec Baldwin: The Dope we can sometimes Quote

You’d think that Alec Baldwin would be angry because he was arrested for being a star as he bicycled against the traffic on Fifth Avenue.  But it seems that he was angry because the cops didn’t recognize him. He is a star that doesn’t shine.

He told the cops to “go f—k themselves” and could produce no ID.  He probably thought that his ID was his beefy, stupid face.

I am personally glad that they are ticketing people for going against the traffic.  I myself have been hit by a bike going in the wrong direction because I didn’t see him coming.  I have never been hit by a car.

When Baldwin got home he twittered, “New York City is a mismanaged carnival of stupidity that is desperate for revenue and anxious to criminalize behavior once thought benign.”  I’ve got to give this angry troll some credit.  “Mismanaged carnival” is poetically deft.

From the mouth of an idiot, comes a good phrase. From empty heads come good quotes.  Witness our President.

From now on I will regard Baldwin as the dope who we can sometimes quote.
