President Obama last Tuesday told a crowd of law enforcement officers that they needed to add their voice to those demanding immigration reform. He said “80 percent of the folks who are here have been here 10 years or longer.” Then he added that “most of them are not making trouble.”
So the issue here isn’t that they are well adept at avoiding the authorities, pros at not getting caught and apprehended, living pretty well and comfortable in the shadows – it’s that they have blended in and become part of the family so why send them home now. Well, Mr. President, because those aren’t the issue.
Liberals always seem to get the answer they want when they ask the wrong question.
The issue isn’t how hushed they are, the issue is how they got here and whether or not they should be punished and held accountable for their lawlessness. They, by sheer numbers, constitute an invasion and yet no one in government seems willing to do anything about it. We used to talk softly and carry a big stick. Now we talk softly, don’t carry a stick and are aghast that no one is listening to us let alone seems to care.
If Obama wasn’t enough, here comes Jeb Bush again. Bush weighed in on the issue commenting on those opposing amnesty, saying “It makes no sense to me.” Jeb, how can it not make sense? It makes nothing but sense. The problem we have here is there are too few elected officials that have any sense left.
There is no mystery to the issue of amnesty. President Obama and those who are pro-amnesty want the culture changed, they want the values changed, they want the country downgraded and they want the votes of the invaders that come with it.
The amnesty advancers also want the evaporation of as much wealth of the immoral, colonial, racist, Euro-American host nation (over which he currently presides) as possible. This is “transformation.”
When the neighbor next door argues irrationally and simplistically that the illegals are simply doing jobs Americans no longer do, let them know that that is balderdash and then let them know that illegals cost the taxpayers of California alone 10 billion a year. Your state’s result may differ.
When someone invades another nation their rightful place before arrest and incarceration and deportation must be in the shadows. To allow them to come out of the closet, to live in the light is to say there is no distinction between lawful and unlawful behavior. To allow them to live outside the shadows, unafraid is to say there are no valid distinctions between peoples, borders, cultures, values, language, law or lawlessness.
The issue here isn’t whether or not illegals are nice people. The issue isn’t whether or not they have been here for one day or one decade. The issue isn’t whether or not they are productive or taxpaying or good neighbors. The issue is singular, they are here illegally.
There are however results, ramifications of this illegality that is harmful to even those who couldn’t care less. Like lost jobs, lost taxpayer dollars, lost confidence in the system, a culture lost, unity diluted, lost language, lost pride, lost incentive. Not to mention losing the ground we call home — to a silent invasion where the only shots that are fired are at border patrol officers (like Brian Terry) with the guns Obama let loose in the Fast and Furious gun running scheme, given to criminal drug cartels who are selling drugs to our kids. That’s “transformation.”
Obama abandoned the southern border like almost every other recent President, just like he abandoned those four brave dead Americans in Benghazi; U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and Sean Smith, U.S. Foreign Service Information Management Officer, as well as two CIA contractors, military patriots Tyrone S. Woods and Glen Doherty.
The bottom line is this, who would argue for allowing those who jump the fence and enter Disneyland to stay just because they have been there all day without being caught. Or because they are buying food and purchasing souvenirs? Who would defend their “right” to stay in the park having not waited in line and paid for an admission ticket like all the other guests?
Liberals pride themselves on babbling about “fairness.” Where is the fairness to all those who had to pay $90 to get into the park? Where’s the equality to all those who stood in line for hours?
To argue that they are not committing crimes inside the park or disrupting any rides is completely irrelevant? Just because they appear to be like every other person in the park doesn’t mean they have the same right to be there. Period!
A burglar is not an uninvited house guest and an illegal immigrant invader is not an undocumented alien.
If Disneyland has every right to toss a person out for sneaking in without a ticket — does not a nation have as much right, as much an obligation to toss out those who jump our national fence and enter our country uninvited?
Those nations who do not control their borders are not really a country any more.
