Islamic Extremists in Nigeria Slaughter 200 Christians

The Islamist terrorist organization Boko Haram has struck again. We first introduced you to Boko Haram back in October when they slaughtered 40 young men at a Nigerian college in an attack that took place in the middle of the night. Boko Haram’s evil misdeeds have become common news as Islamic militants become more and more aggressive on the world stage.

Boko Haram’s main goal in Nigeria (besides death, destruction, murder and plunder) is to establish an Islamic theocratic state in northern Nigeria.

They’ve recently intensified their attacks on innocent civilians because the Nigerian military has been beating them on the battlefield.

It’s believed that they have focused on schools because they think the schools are where Western-style education and culture is being cultivated.

Over the weekend the monstrous villains of Boko Haram attacked local civilian populations and slaughtered more than 200 students on their way to take state sponsored exams.

The students, according to sources, lost their lives as the sect embarked on multiple attacks that affected no fewer than four communities in the state.

boko haram victimsSources disclosed that the insurgents laid in ambush for the students, who were in eight vehicles and who were on their way to Biu from Maiduguri, to write the exams. It could not be ascertained if all the students in the eight vehicles were killed during the attacks.

Reacting to the incident, the Senator representing Borno Central, Zannah Ahmed, told journalists on Friday that at least 210 people have been killed so far in the attacks that lasted between Thursday night and Friday morning.

The two-day attacks, he said, were unleashed on communities such as Dikwa, Kala Balge, Gambulga and Gwoza.

The Islamic nations of the world have been unsurprisingly silent about the evil acts committed by Boko Haram. All of this is happening as Boko Haram strengthens its relations with other Islamic groups like Al Qaeda in an effort to entrench themselves in northern Nigeria.

If you notice recent trend of Islamic terrorist activity popping up all around the world… don’t worry, it’s not just you. Islamic groups are terrorizing the populations in India, Pakistan, the USA, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Kenya, Egypt, Libya, Nigeria… and more.

Islam is ravaging our world.

Boko Haram has been busy in recent months. Back in February they killed 59 students at a boarding school, going as far as incinerating some of the bodies.

These Muslim terrorists won’t rest until they’ve won or are all dead. That is the struggle we face. Are we getting serious yet?

If we don’t stand against Islam now… we may never again have a chance to stem its tide.

As far as I know I’m nobody’s stooge. But I recognize propaganda when I see it, and I’d sure like to see no more from John Lasher.

    • Lasher

That is easily accomplished, Ray, my boy. All you have to do is when you see a post that has my name on it as the author, just simply don’t read it! It’s simple when I explain it to you, isn’t it? Good boy!

  • http://missionoutreach.org Ray_Downen

You want to believe there is not a real LIVING God, it seems. We all will find out after we die whether or not there is a LIVING God who rules the universe. I know there is a Creator. This universe didn’t just happen by accident. The more we learn about cells and atoms, the more we should be convinced that a power far beyond any human ability designed and made this universe and everything in it.

In the Bible God speaks to reveal Himself to all who will read, whether in cave or palace or any other place at all. He invites all to live for Jesus and live eternally. I’m glad I learned to know of Jesus and His offer of eternal life. I’m sorry for people who choose to not believe in God and His unique Son Jesus.

    • Leijona

If the god described in the Bible is big enough for you, that is fine Ray. If that is what makes you happy and gets you through the day, then that is all you need. I just have a different concept of what god is and what he/she/it does or does not do. I also think that most people do not understand the message that The Nazarene left us, that’s all.

The Bible was written a long time ago by people that had very limited scientific knowledge. This does not minimize the moral precepts outlined in the Bible or in other religious Tome’s written by other ethnic groups or even by other civilizations.

Morality never changes, but our scientific knowledge does. Just because the mechanical and physical descriptions of the earth and the universe given in the Bible are flawed does not mean that the whole book is wrong.

Religions that stand the test of time loosen their grip on those things that are better left to science, and they embrace the things for which man does not, and can never have an answer. You cannot describe the soul, or love, but they both have a profound effect on how we think and feel. They are where God lives.

As far as religion goes, I prefer to see many branches on a tree leading to a main trunk, like a tree. They are all around us, but apparently nobody sees them, because the chain saw that is the arrogance of religion cuts off all the branches but one.

      Have a great day, Ray.

      • http://missionoutreach.org Ray_Downen

I’m sorry for anyone who imagines that Bible truths are not always true and correct. What a pity it is that some imagine they can create God in their own image and can make a religion they like that God is sure to like because they’ve created their own God.

God made this universe. His Son who actually did the creating (God said to Him, “Let US make man in OUR own image.”) came to earth and lived as a human some 4,000 years after the Creation, and we’ve enjoyed living with Jesus as Lord now for another 2,000 years approximately and counting.

The only religion that will save sinners is the Way of Jesus. All other religions are good or bad but useless as far as saving from sin goes. There is no other religion from God than that of the Way of Jesus. Any religion which differs from Christianity is a vain religion whose followers seek but will never find salvation. The religion of Leijona is of no value to anyone. Following it will take anyone to Hell, for only Jesus saves from Hell.

Science is the study of things. It’s thrilling to read Christian scientists who explain how things tie together to make clear what the Bible speaks of only in a general way about how the world was created and how it came to be in the shape it now is in. Note that they do not disagree with the Bible. They make clear how what the Bible teaches is true and correct. There are now in the U.S.A. several Christian science museums where fossils and other proofs of God’s creation can be found. One fine such museum is near Oklahoma City and is led by Dr. Thomas Sharp. His web site is http://www.creationtruth.com/.

        • Leijona

“The religion of Leijona is of no value to anyone”?

There is no “Religion of Leijona”

Religion has been responsible for more death, suffering and mass slaughter; it has provided a venue for sadists and perverts since the concept was conceived by those wishing to control, and then to rule the masses.

A man can know God without religion. In fact I would be willing to say that “Religion” keeps man from finding god, because religion triggers arrogance, like the arrogance you display when you say that the only way to God is through Christianity.

To completely ignore the findings of all the scientists throughout the world is simply daft, and no God worth the name would expect us to do so.

I am excited by Science, you are threatened by it. That’s all there is to it.

          • http://missionoutreach.org Ray_Downen

Leijona doesn’t recognize that the god he has created and worships is not the Creator God. True science recognizes God. I’m not threatened in any way by true science. I applaud the several scientists who have founded science museums here in the U.S.A. and who speak wherever possible to encourage people to believe in and serve the living God. One such person is G. Thomas Sharp of Oklahoma. There are several others.

          • Leijona

I did not create god, ancient man did to explain things that he did not understand, and the same is true today. The title of god is attributed to that which we do not understand.

Sharp is considered certifyable by most learned scientists. There are wing-nuts in every walk of life, and I am sure Sharp is making a pretty penny at his speaking engagements, as is stein, the Christian Commedian with his Athiest Routine.

          • http://missionoutreach.org Ray_Downen

Atheists imagine that humans just accidentally happened to suddenly appear on an earth that had just accidentally happened to appear. Atheists have a vivid imagination. The true fact is that God created the universe and on the 6th day of creation created the first human. It was no accident. I believe the Bible account of creation. Millions of us do so. Evolutionary theories cannot be tested or proven. Those who believe in evolution imagine billions of years and changes constantly occurring, all for the better. Yet every such change we NOW see is for the worse.

As for the foolish charge against Dr. Sharp, he and many other seekers of truth are fully credentialed. They studied and earned the degrees they hold. Doubters may accuse them of being stupid. The doubters can’t deny that they hold the degrees they claim. It’s the doubters whose theories cannot be proven, not the godly teachers about the truths of creation.

          • Leijona

You have it completely backwards, Ray. Religious people think that God made people suddenly appear out of clay, was it? and woman came from the first mans rib. (I guess he ran out of clay?)

Evolutionists think that man came about through numerous adaptations to his environment over hundreds of thousands of years. DNA links us to the chimpanzee to a 98.5% certainty.

The fossil record proves this beyond the doubt of a normal skeptic, but then you are no normal skeptic. You make it up as you go along. Now if it works for you, fine, but please do not try to reverse the actual facts to fit your version of the story. It does not do you credit.

            Thanks.

          • http://missionoutreach.org Ray_Downen

I’ve enjoyed recently watching videos of one Christian teacher now a victim of Obama’s regulations but a very honest and capable teacher of truth, His home is in Florida. His name is Hovind. He explains well what the Bible teaches and why we can believe it is true. Many others also speak up for honesty and truth. Evolutionary theories are all based on nonsense, assuming what can’t be proven and denying what is obviously true.

The fossil records prove there’s no possibility of evolutionary theories being correct. The records in stone prove that a world-wide flood occurred just as the Bible reports. The ice age that followed that flood was year by year reduced so that areas once covered in ice have been green land again. And since that time the earth has had cycles of cooling and warming. Just now it’s in a cooling cycle, to the dismay of those warning for years about global warming about to destroy the planet.

I’ve just now come to read this comment (10 days after) and I have to admit that eating shellfish which was once wrong is not now an abomination at all. Homosexual practice was wrong then and is wrong now. But I’m not the judge. Jesus will judge us all. The teachings of Jesus and His apostles will be the basis for our being right or wrong, saved or lost, in bliss or torment. We do well to read and believe the New Testament writings which apply to us today and not worry about the Mosaic Law which has been replaced by the gospel of Jesus.

    • Lasher

A little slow in answering my posts, aren’t you, Ray?
Don’t they show up on your in-box?
Ray, God’s word is allegedly eternal and unchanging, so if He said eating shellfish is an abomination way back then, why is it not an abomination today? If it was an abomination to be homosexual when eating shellfish was abominable, why isn’t it still an abomination? Remember, God’s word is eternal and unchanging.
If you don’t believe in the Mosaic law, then why do you consider Jews to be “God’s Chosen People?”
Ray, you can’t have it both ways – you can’t have your cake and eat it too, so make up your mind.

      • http://missionoutreach.org Ray_Downen

Why do you think I consider present-day Jews “God’s Chosen People?” I’m not changing my mind, but the Jews WERE God’s chosen people to prepare the world for the coming of Jesus. Now God’s chosen people are Christians, followers of Jesus of Nazareth, a Jew who was more than just a Jew and is now ruler of Heaven and earth.

John imagines that we still live under Old Testament law. He is wrong. Christians recognize that Jesus is Lord of all and it’s the teachings of Jesus and His apostles which guide us rather than the law given to Moses for the Jewish nation. Yes, God is unchanging except when He changes. He can’t be changed by any enemy. He is free to demand one thing today and a different thing tomorrow. He doesn’t do that.

But He sent Jesus to save the world from sin, and things changed dramatically when Jesus rose from the dead. He now is in charge. So we seek to live as He lived and do as He teaches we should do. He doesn’t make mandatory a weekly day of rest. He calls for us to work for Him every day in every way, and to bless others and serve others as much as is possible.

  • http://missionoutreach.org Ray_Downen

The truth about Jesus was written by people who knew Him well. It was not embellished by people hundreds of years later. Evolution is nonsense from the word GO. It assumes there is no Creator, that everything just accidently happened. It assumes things always existed, but over eons changed and changed and changed until human life accidently happened and who knows how long ago that was!

No, the entire universe began about 6,000 years ago, and was changed drastically by a world-wide flood about 1,800 years later. Moses wrote about the time prior to the flood, but no records survive from prior to the flood. No records except in fossils and rock strata, which tell the story. And what the rocks reveal agrees with what Moses wrote many years ago.

What Jesus did was seen by people who lived to write about it and whose writings are preserved in the book we call the New Testament, or apostolic writings. All these books were written by people who knew Jesus while He was alive or who were active serving Jesus with people who had been with Jesus while He was alive. None were written later than 60 years after Jesus died and rose again from the tomb.

Leijona’s imagination is marvelous that she would suppose it took several generations for people to make up stories about what Jesus said and did. She is a good story-teller. Imaginative. Inventive. But the truth has escaped her. It’s all in her mind. Every New Testament book was written prior to the death of the last apostle, John, about 96 A.D.

    • Leijona

      Amazing.

Leijona means Lion in Finnish. I am a Male 67 year old Vietnam War veteran.

If you have the time, or if you dare, Google cave paintings, France, and take a look at the beautiful drawings made on the walls of Chauvet Cave in France in Lascaux that have been scientifically dated to 32,000 years BP, Ray. Such marvels have also been found in Spain. Fossils of Horses have been dated to 500,000 years BP.

Yes I have quite an imagination, but there is no way that I, or any other human for that matter could have imagined how Old, Big, or Incredible the Universe really is!

      Have an imaginative day, Ray!

  • http://missionoutreach.org Ray_Downen

These “millions of years” of which John speaks are all in his mind. And God IS in control of this earth and of the entire universe. Volcanoes DO erupt. God doesn’t force people to live where they will not be safe when volcanoes erupt or when storms such as our recent Joplin tornado come. God puts in place the forces which cause storms, that’s true. But He doesn’t usually pick out particular cities to be host to a storm.

He made an exception when Sodom and Gomorrah became so wicked that no righteous people could be found in them. Those two cities were deliberately destroyed by God.

God loves every one equally. He lets us make decisions which will affect our well-being or not. And God is not responsible for sickness or painful death which comes to some. He offers life to all. If this world were a Paradise, there would be no sickness and no death and no wickedness. But He made this world with both good and bad together, so germs and health-producing powers vie for our attention. Some get sick. Others are always well. God loves us either way.

John is prejudiced and ignorant. The people used by God to write Bible books were not ignorant at all nor superstitious. Nor were all of them scholars or writers by trade. The Bible includes stories about miracles which really happened. People were healed. Jesus did walk on water and feed thousands from a small lunch and stop storms. The miracles reported in the Bible were actual events, not fictitious. Jesus actually lived and did as is described in the four gospel accounts of His life, death and resurrection.

As for the millions of years John assumes it takes to make a diamond or coal or fossils, the exact same things have been done in brief time as he assumes took long years. The pressures on the earth during the world-wide flood is when most diamonds and coal and oil deposits were formed.

    • Lasher

Ray, it is a scientific fact that this world is billions of years old.
Do you deny that dinosaurs existed? Their bones have been carbon dated to be millions of years old. But, you deny that carbon dating is valid, don’t you?
God doesn’t force people to live near active volcanoes, but maybe those people settled there before the first eruption and were ignorant of the danger?
God must have known the nature of the Sodomites and Gomorrahns when he created them, because He knows all, and He had to know they wouldn’t give up their sexual perversions either, so why did He create them just so He could kill them? It’s a mystery, isn’t it?
God loves everyone equally? Even Adolf Hitler and all his henchmen? Joe Stalin who killed all those people? Mao tse Tung who murdered millions?
Doesn’t God know beforehand whether or not someone will do this or that? If He does, what is the purpose in anything, and if He doesn’t, He must not be all-knowing and all-seeing as we thought, right?
People don’t have any choice in whether or not they get cancer, yet they get it anyway, so why does God allow innocent people to die such agonizing deaths through no fault of their own?
Those old Jews who wrote the books of the “Bible” certainly were ignorant if they didn’t know the world is a sphere; what else can you call it but ignorance? The lack of knowledge on a subject is ignorance of it. N’est-ce pas?
How can you state categorically that all those fantastic tales of miracles the old Jews werote about actually happened? You don’t know they actually happened, and anyone with reason and logic knows they weren’t possible in a world of natural order. They sound like some hallucinogenic visions of dopers who were stoned out of their minds on acacia leaves, especially Moses seeing a burning bush that stopped burning and was still whole. Sounds like those guys were really tripping the light fantastiic.
Did I hear you say that humans have made diamonds in a short time? Those aren’t diamonds, Ray, they are rhinestones. LOL!

      • http://missionoutreach.org Ray_Downen

John must be extremely old if he knows about billions of years of life on earth. I’m sure the universe was created about 6,000 years ago. I’m sorry some are so misguided that they date fossils by rock layers and rock layers by fossils and convince themselves that they’re millions and billions of years old. They assume that everything must happen now just as it has for every year since creation.

There was no one alive until God made man 6,000 years ago. God mentions that creation took just six days, not six billion years. And the God who made the tiniest animals and plants and the largest ones and who made all animal life could do in an instant what men couldn’t do in billions of years.

The world God made was good, but it was not identical to what we now enjoy. In fact drastic changes took place when a world-wide flood was sent on the earth a little more than 4,000 years ago. At that time all the diamonds and coal and oil formations now being found were created by tremendous pressures which dramatically changed the earth. Mountains were formed. Valleys appeared. The earth as we know it now began after the flood.

John asks if God knows beforehand what we will do. The answer is a resounding yes, He knows. John thinks that since God knows of evil in the hearts of men and does nothing to prevent their doing evil deeds He must not be a good God. But God chose to make us free moral agents, knowing that some would be bad and others would choose to be good.

God IS good, and He invites everyone to also be good and enjoy eternal goodness with Him. He allows evil. He encourages goodness. He rewards those who choose to follow the Way, and will punish those who choose otherwise. John thinks God is wrong to allow evil. I think God is good regardless of what He allows and disallows. He knows more than I do. I have no business telling Him what He should do or not do.

Yes, John, God loves even mass murderers, and offers them salvation. It’s by their own choice that they prefer evil and wickedness and will suffer eternally because of their choices. The wicked ones will be joined by all who refused to follow Jesus as Lord, regardless of how good they might seem to others.

“Stand against Islam”, what an ignorant statement. First of all, you like to conveniently forget or ignore that just as many atrocities have been carried out in the name of Christianity, if not more. You are condemning an entire religion based on the actions of a very small member of its population. There are 1.6 billion Muslims in the world. That is 23% of the world’s population. The overwhelming majority of Muslims are not terrorists. Terrorists attacks carried out by a small number of misguided extremest Muslims are not part of the religion. In fact, they are against the religion. Under Islam law it is forbidden to wage war for the sake of acquiring glory, power, or rule. Furthermore, the problem of terrorism has very little to do with Islam. Not all terrorists are Muslims. In fact, a very small number of the world’s terrorists are Muslims. The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Elam a Hindu separatist group in Sri Lanka has carried out more suicide bombings than any other organization on the face of the earth. The FBI has a chronological list of all terror attacks on US soil from 1980 to 2005, and only 6% of the attacks involved Islamist extremism. That means that here in the United States, a whopping 94% of known terrorists are not Muslim. Europol, the European Union’s criminal intelligence agency, posts a similar list each year entitled the “EU Terrorism Situation and Trend Report.” The numbers in Europe are there are even more stark, with terror attacks perpetrated by Muslims accounting for only 0.4% of terror plots in the EU from 2006-2008. The most recent report, when issued early next year, will include the details from last summer’s horrific attack in Norway, carried out by a man “calling for a Christian war to defend Europe against the threat of Muslim domination.”

    • $21717139

You have only been able to name ONE terror attack in the EU carried out by a non Muslim; if there were so many, why can you not name any others? Islamist Jihadists account for the majority of terror plots and attacks in Africa, Europe, the Philippines, and America; all one has to do is to read the news.
