Nancy Grace and Piers Morgan went at each other over gun control recently.
Piers Morgan was once again complaining about the 2nd Amendment and the availability of guns in America when it seemed that Ms. Grace finally had enough.
“Oh, are you back on gun control again? If it weren’t for the British, we wouldn’t even have to have protections to carry guns. It was the British, way back when we founded America – they were running through all of our homes trying to take our stuff. So we’re protected under the Constitution. So, it’s not really right for a Brit to jump up and start talking to us about gun control.”
“if [Michael] Dunn and [George] Zimmerman had not been carrying guns, then these two young boys – who were unarmed, as it turned out – regardless of any fear that may have been felt by the – the people shooting the guns, they would be alive, right?”
He may well be correct about the Dunn case – but if George Zimmerman is to be believed, and a jury of his peers did believe him, then Zimmerman might well be dead had he not been carrying his gun. Remember, the evidence showed that Trayvon Martin had been beating Mr. Zimmerman bloody before he was shot.
Here’s the confrontation between Grace and Morgan.
“It’s not really right for a Brit to jump up and start talking to us about gun control.”
Well, that was fun.
