Polish Prez Throws Wrench in Fake News, Wife Didn’t Snub Trump’s Handshake

The media will show you what the media wants you to see. They may only show part of a photo or a video clip that may make things appear to be completely different than they actually are.

For example:

In the news yesterday, there was a huge controversy as to why the Polish President’s wife snubbed President Trump’s handshake. In the video, you can clearly see him stick out his hand as she completely bypasses and shakes Melania’s hand.

The video went viral on social media sites as people laughed at Trump because they thought her not shaking his hand was a jab. However, that actually wasn’t the case. The video conveniently stopped just before she turned and also shook Trump’s hand.

CNN’s Chris Cillizza also tried to make it seem like an international incident had occurred.

However, Polish President Andrzej Duda tweeted out to stop fake news. He stated, “Contrary to some surprising reports my wife did shake hands with Mrs. and Mr. Trump @POTUS after a great visit. Let’s FIGHT FAKE NEWS.”

He also then tweeted out the full video which does, indeed, show his wife turn and shake hands with Donald Trump.

This just goes to show you that you cannot always believe everything you hear or see. Especially not online or from the media.
