A local Pennsylvania news station wanted to do something to help their viewers understand the impact that Obamacare was having all around the country and in their own neck of the woods. So they set up their cameras at a local auto repair shop as employees were being told for the first time how Obamacare would affect each of them. The story isn’t pretty, but it’s something that every American should see. These faces in McKeesport, Pennsylvania are indicative of the greater American population at large. These are lower middle class working folks who should be the ones being most helped by Obamacare; instead they (and we) are the ones being most burdened by this massive failure of government excess.
It’s heartbreaking, but you need to see and hear what is happening because of Obamacare.
The stories are sad, but it’s the numbers that are truly shocking. Huge increases in deductibles should mean LOWER co-pays and LOWER premiums… but they don’t. Premiums are still increasing and co-pays are still going up. Add to that the many people will lose their preferred health care providers, and it makes the entire program seem completely ridiculous.
The folks in suburban Pennsylvania aren’t wealthy. They are blue-collar, salt-of-the-earth middle class Americans, and they are being screwed out of their healthcare because the Democrat Party wants to grow the government. Obamacare isn’t about affordable healthcare – this is just more evidence to that fact. Obamacare is about control, it’s about power, and it’s about creating a permanent welfare society in the United States. Obamacare will make healthcare so unaffordable that the average, low-information voter will soon be begging for the government to “do something,” not realizing that the government “doing something” was what got us into this mess in the first place.
That’s the secret to all of the Democrats’ plans folks… screw things up so bad that the people are begging for more government.
Sadly, it’s working.
