A new coal mine started up operations in Pennsylvania and the Democrat governor had to attend the opening.
If Hillary Clinton had won the election, probably no new coal mine would have opened outside Pittsburg. Pennsylvania shocked the media by “flipping” from voting Democrat to electing Donald Trump. But why be shocked? Trump promised to save coal while Hillary promised to kill it. Even if there are other economic factors that prevent coal from “coming back,” at least Trump wasn’t hostile to thousands of Pennsylvania jobs.
Fox News reports, “First New Coal Mine of Trump Era Opens in Pennsylvania.”
President Trump lauded the opening of the nation’s first new coal mine in recent memory.
Corsa Coal Company will operate the mine in Somerset County, Pa. – outside of Pittsburgh.
Corsa CEO George Dethlefsen said the mine will be a boon to the struggling local economy.
The best part of the story is that the Democrat governor had to attend the public opening.
