Liberal Headline: ‘85% of Clinton Supporters Would Vote for her Again’…Look What They Chose NOT to Mention

Written by Onan Coca

A just released poll from the liberals at the Washington Post and ABC has the media stunned into stupidity today. Before I get to the heart of the poll let me show you what one of the headlines about the poll said… from the Hill, “Poll: 85 percent of Clinton supporters would vote for her again.”

From that headline, it’s hard to tell that this poll could cause an earthquake of fear on the left… but let’s dig past the Hill‘s terrible headline.

While 85% of Clinton’s supporters would vote for her again, the same poll finds that 96% of Trump supporters would cast their ballot the same way they did in November.

A wide majority of voters who supported Hillary Clinton in the November presidential election say they would vote for her again despite her loss, according to a new poll.

An ABC News/Washington Post poll released early Sunday found that 85 percent of Clinton’s supporters said they would vote for her if the election were held again today.

A larger percentage of President Trump’s supporters, 96 percent, said they would vote for him again.

Why is this the lead for the Hill‘s story? Why are they focusing on the fact that 85% of Hillary’s voters would still vote for her? Isn’t the bigger story that 96% of Trump’s voters would still vote for him? Or that 2% of Hillary’s voters would now switch to Trump?

Actually, the real story is buried even further into the poll results, as the Daily Wire explains.

Yes, you read that right. If the election were held again today, not only would President Trump still win… he’d actually win the popular vote too.

The new  WashPost/ABC News poll found that while 46 percent of those surveyed said they voted for Clinton and 43 percent said they voted for Trump, asked how they would vote if given a second chance, respondents ended up giving Trump the popular vote win in the hypothetical rematch, 43 – 40.

Thus, the survey found that Clinton lost 6 percent of her support, while Trump maintained nearly all of his, and Trump’s rematch popular vote victory would surpass Clinton’s real world 2-point edge.

Needless to say, President Trump was very excited about the results and took to Twitter to crow about the numbers.

The president deserves the opportunity to gloat a bit here. For the last few months the media has done nothing but tear him apart for various sins and shortcomings, while also refusing to comment on the incredible job he’s done fulfilling many of his campaign promises in a very short amount of time. Not only that, the economy has been humming along; the market is up, jobs are on the rise, unemployment is down, he’s cut Billions from the debt, and he’s won many foreign policy victories… and we’re less than 100 days in to his era.

It’s been a good string on months by almost any measure… but the media hasn’t noticed… and based on the Hill’s ridiculous headline about this poll, they are still oblivious.
