Pelosi: The Media Were ‘Accomplices in the Undermining of our Election’ [VIDEO]

Written by Philip Hodges

Believe it or not, the Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is partially blaming the media for Hillary Clinton’s downfall. Despite the fact that according to every study done on media coverage during the 2016 presidential campaign showing that the media was decisively against Donald Trump and for Hillary Clinton, Pelosi calls them ‘accomplices’ in the ‘undermining’ of our election.

In her interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper, Pelosi mentioned specifically Wikileaks, and how the media reported on “every email” from John Podesta but failed to make clear that “this comes to you from Vladimir Putin.”

“I think the press were accomplices in the undermining of our election by the Russians by not pointing out this stuff is worthless, because it comes from an undermining of our election, or at least reminding the public where this — these e-mails, the leaking of these e-mails came from,” Pelosi told Tapper.

Pelosi said that Vladimir Putin had a personal beef with Hillary Clinton, all because she talked about “Democracy” and fair elections. “And they did have a vendetta against Hillary Clinton, because she spoke about democracy and democratic elections and the rest,” she said. “There’s no question, personally, Vladimir Putin had a vendetta against her.”

So, Putin has a vendetta against anyone who talks about “Democracy” and “fair elections?” And because Hillary Clinton talked about those things, the supposed election rigging was her punishment? Really? Who believes that? (Pelosi, apparently.)

As it’s been said many times, there was nothing that was revealed by Wikileaks that was found to be inaccurate. Wikileaks maintains that the emails they received were not the result of Russian hackers or any kind of hackers for that matter. They say that they had a source inside D.C. who leaked all the emails.

Democrats waiver between two narratives. In one narrative, they claim the Wikileaks emails revealed nothing scandalous or even worth reporting on. In the other, they say that the “hacked” emails were ordered by Vladimir Putin to bring Hillary Clinton down and were successful in that regard. Which is it? It can’t be both.
