Our society has reached a whole new level of decadence, a brand new pinnacle of repulsiveness, and worst of all, in our fervor to promote blind political correctness we have nursed this aberration to a new, terrible level, to where it threatens the safety of people everywhere. This new threat to urban society is called “The Knockout Game,” in which (if you can imagine), an assailant chooses a random stranger and sucker punches them with the intent of knocking them unconscious. Most often, the event is recorded on video, so it can be shown to others through some form of social media.
While we claim this facade of civilization, within the streets of our cities is a growing social illness – a deep, bitter frustration, and a simmering racial hostility rising up in those elements who feel no one has ever given them enough, that their innate failure as individuals is a direct result of others, and violence is such an inherent way of life with these individuals, it provides a natural extension to a vile new form of entertainment. It’s born out of a growing resentment that hasn’t been assuaged by welfare, free housing, food stamps, or hiring preference, and worst of all we refuse to address it, or we are hesitant to punish most of the criminals who play this atrocious game, because of our sick political correctness.
Don’t misunderstand me here. I don’t give a rat’s posterior about race. The color of a person’s skin doesn’t add to or take away from my perspective. I deal in what I can see and what I can prove. I don’t care if you came from outer space and you’re just visiting for the weekend, there is no moral justification in random violence. If you commit a crime then you need to pay for it, and color, or all things, should make no difference. But this new aberration is by far, nearly exclusively, a “black assaulting white” crime, and it is the tip of the iceberg in what politically correct news networks are refusing to define – a burgeoning national trend of black on white violence in cities across this country.
The saddest part of all is that there are millions of African Americans that are trying desperately to become a productive part of our society – working hard, getting educations, and raising families with values. But the flip side of that coin – the angry, violent, discontented side, often siphons away all this positive energy and accomplishment.
Black gangs routinely terrorize many of America’s larger cities, but most liberal newspapers and television networks (which is approximately 85 percent of the larger papers and networks in the country) have refused to address this for fear of being considered inflammatory or being declared prejudiced. They have particularly avoided this new “sport” of knocking people unconscious – if addressing it at all, calling it coincidental, or a hazing, or just unruly teens being overly zealous, while steadfastly refusing to state any consistencies about race. But to anyone who is panning the hundreds of examples both in print and on video, the reality is stark and plain: At present, over 90 percent of the victims of this vicious “game” are Caucasian, or Asian, many are women, and more than 90 percent of the attackers are black. Yet our present administration, when finally acknowledging this debacle and taking action, chose Conrad Barrett, a white man, who had assaulted an elderly black man, and quickly brought him up on Federal Hate Crime charges. So much for the double standards we fought so hard to abolish.
We should begin to live less in fear of whether or not we will be called “inflammatory” or “racist,” and in more fear of the world we are leaving our children.
I will leave you with a quote by psychiatrist and academic Thomas Szasz: “Punishment is now unfashionable… because it creates moral distinctions among men, which, to the democratic mind, are odious. We prefer a meaningless collective guilt to a meaningful individual responsibility.”
