Why it’s Important to Have a ‘Postcard Perfect’ First Family

Written by Leonora Cravotta

There is no getting around it. The new first lady and former supermodel Melania Trump can stop traffic.

While they say that looks don’t matter, and that fashion is superficial, there is something special about a pretty first lady with a great sense of style who speaks multiple languages. After all, over fifty years ago the world fell in love with first lady Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy for the same reason.

And yes, Melania is also the mother of a young child. America loves having children in The White House.

With the Trump presidency, we will not only have President Trump’s youngest child ten-year-old Barron residing at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue after he finishes his school year in New York City, there will also be many visits from Trump’s eight grand children.

While it may not be politically correct to say this, there is an inherent optimism associated with a ‘postcard perfect’ first family.
