The GOP just released another scathing advertisement tying various Democrats to President Obama’s famous “Lie of the Year.”
They’ll be focused on a group of Senators and Representatives who were each heard telling some version of the Obamacare lie.
Targeted Democrats include Senators Mark Begich (D-AK), Mark Pryor (D-AR), Mark Udall (D-CO), Mary Landrieu (D-LA), Kay Hagan (D-NC), Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), Jeff Merkley (D-OR), Mark Warner (D-VA), and Representatives Bruce Braley (IA-01), Gary Peters (MI-14), Tim Bishop (NY-01) and Nick Rahall (WV-03). Each Democrat told a different version of the lie, “If you like your plan you can keep it,” which PolitiFact called the 2013 Lie of the Year.
So what’s your New Year’s resolution? Here’s one you can keep. Resolve to keep [Senator/Representative] honest in 2014.
President Obama and [Senator/Representative] said if you like your insurance plan you can keep it under ObamaCare. They lied to you. Big time. PolitiFact called that the “lie of the year.”
