Hillary Clinton becomes the first female to be nominated in a major party. And there was much rejoicing:

Apparently, Paul Simon didn’t do too well singing “Bridge Over Troubled Water” at the Democrat’s convention: “After panning Paul Simon’s performance on opening night of the Democratic National Convention, it looks like most attendees would have preferred the sound of silence.” ha. ha. get it?
