What We’re Reading December 9, 2013

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Monday December 9, 2013.

Here’s another reason to be skeptical about Obamacare. If you sign up for Obamacare coverage you won’t be able to get care at America’s top hospitals… Obamacare doesn’t offer access to any of them.

Well, how about some good news from the Obama team? The Obamacare architect, Zeke Emanuel, says that YOU CAN keep your doctor. If you’re willing to pay more money, that is.

Amazing. How is that a good thing? “Sure you can keep your doctor, if you pay more money.” I preferred the way things were before when I got to keep my doctor and pay LESS MONEY. Say it with me Zeke – Obamacare sucks.

Generation Opportunity is doing some great work for conservatives on college campuses spreading the news that college kids can “Opt Out” of Obamacare. If are young people stand up against socialized medicine, it just won’t work. The college kids are the key.

The Ukrainian people are rising up against socialism and our geopolitical foe, Russia. The Ukraine’s leaders are cozying up to Russia, but the people who live there still remember Russia’s many past sins. Hopefully, our leaders will speak up for the Ukrainian people.

Conservative icon George Will finds some humor in President Obama’s admission that “running a big government” is hard.

David Gergen of CNN says that the latest Government Accountability Report on Obamacare preparations proves that no one is in charge at the White House.

A new study reveals that people who can ignore their texts and phone calls are more likely to be content.

A man on a United flight out to California wakes up locked in a darkened plane with no one else aboard.
