The Overwhelming Stupidity of Target’s Transgender Restroom Policy

THE STUPIDITY OF TARGET’S TRANSGENDER BATHROOM POLICY

 

Homosexuality and gay marriages are sensitive subjects.  But when different sexes start invading each other’s bathrooms we have a problem that is both disgusting and dangerous.

 

Gays have come out of the closet and hopped into the Water Closet.  They have moved from sexology to scatology.

 

Transgender bathroom use is also impossible to monitor.  How do we know if a person is confused about his sex or is a pervert using sexual misidentification as an excuse for entrance into the stalls of rape?

 

Target is arrogant and stupid enough to feel that it can rearrange thousands of years of toilet separation to allow a distorted, liberal transgender bathroom policy.

 

The American Family Association’s leadership gave these naïve sexual bullies at Target a petition with more than one million names demanding they overturn their “unsafe bathroom policy” and make transgenders use the restroom facilities that correspond to their birth sex.

 

This is a no brainer even in a brainless progressive society. Sex is not psychological. It is between your legs.

 

Tim Wildmon, AFA’s president, wrote to Target, “As we have stated time and again, our worries do not stem from the transgender community but rather from those predators and voyeurs with evil intentions who would take advantage of the policy to potentially harm women and children.”

 

I agree on the extreme but in the interim I also find the use of the facilities by the transgender community disgusting.  Since when is disgust no longer a value? Why are we ashamed to find something ugly?   Can’t we make a stand?  Can’t we kick genetic mistakes out of our stalls?

 

Freaks? Shame on me.  No, shame on you for not recognizing the recognizable.

 

Wildmon said, “We are confident that millions more will join the movement and voice their fears of Target’s policy.”

 

The petition, which had more than 1.2 million names on Thursday, reads in part: “I pledge to boycott Target stores. Target’s store policy endangers women and children by allowing men to frequent women’s facilities. Until Target makes the safety of women and children a priority, I will shop elsewhere.”

 

Target has taken the typical liberal diversity position, “We welcome transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity. … Everyone deserves to feel like they belong.”

 

Diversity is the liberal excuse for failing to achieve unity. America was founded as a melting pot, not a row of little tea cups.  Spare me from diversity.  It is for opinionated fools who want to defend their simplistic opinions.

 

A semi-conservative friend of mine told me the other day that he is a fiscal conservative but a social liberal.  That is a typical opinion of a person who is afraid to offend his friends socially.  He figures no one will mind his being conservative fiscally but God forbid he finds gay marriage or transgender declaration of his own sexuality uncomfortable; then he might be considered bigoted or prejudiced.

 

And yet social liberalism is the greater problem.  It distorts our history and our values.  It turns the tendencies of the gut into the distortions of the mind.  I am more concerned with the distortions of social liberalism than fiscal liberalism.
