“Racism is fine so long as it’s black-on-white.
“That’s the message from Super Bowl 50, where leftism dominated the proceedings. From the ‘gay car’ commercial of Mini Cooper to Axe pushing transgender men wearing heels, from Cam Newton stating before the game that opposition to him had to be racism-based to Coldplay pushing same-sex marriage, far-left ideology was on full display during the most-watched event of the year.” (H/T: Daily Wire)
You may not have noticed Lesbian soccer star Abby Wambach describing the Mini Cooper as “a gay car.” What happened to commercials that were just about the product?
The Super Bowl was schizophrenic like so much of America. Lady Gaga gave a beautiful rendition of the “Star Spangled Banner” which pleasantly surprised me. Then there was the half-time show that was an all-out celebration of Huey Newton, the Black Panthers, and Black Lives Matter with some Malcolm X thrown in for good measure.
Can you tell the difference in these two images?
Compare the above with this:
We now live in a divided nation with extremists using the media in 1984 fashion to shape pliable, disconnected “whatever” minds. Don’t think for a moment that the NFL didn’t know what was going on.
Then there was the obligatory nod to same-sex sexuality and same-sex marriage:
EVERYTHING AT THE SUPER BOWL HALFTIME SHOW WAS COVERED IN RAINBOWS, FROM COLDPLAY SINGER CHRIS MARTIN’S SHIRT TO THE STAGE HE WAS DANCING ON. AT FIRST, IT SEEMED LIKE AN ARBITRARY ARTISTIC DECISION, BUT THE INTENT BECAME CLEAR AT THE END. AFTER THE PERFORMANCES WERE OVER, THE AUDIENCE FLIPPED OVER RAINBOW-COLORED PLACARDS THAT READ ‘BELIEVE IN LOVE,’ A TACIT ENDORSEMENT OF MARRIAGE EQUALITY. THE SUPER BOWL’S PRO-GAY MARRIAGE MOMENT WAS REFRESHING AND UNEXPECTED, AND ILLUSTRATED JUST HOW MUCH PUBLIC SENTIMENT ON THE ISSUE HAS CHANGED OVER THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS.
IN A SENSE, IT WASN’T TOO SURPRISING. SUPER BOWL 50 WAS HOSTED IN SAN FRANCISCO — THOUGH THE ACTUAL GAME TOOK PLACE IN NEARBY SANTA CLARA — AND SAN FRANCISCO HAS LONG BEEN A BOTH AN EPICENTER FOR GAY RIGHTS AND A VERY LGBTQ-FRIENDLY CITY IN GENERAL.”
It’s never been about love any more than abortion is about choice. There has never been a law against love. You and I can love anyone or anything. It’s the sex part that’s the problem. A father loves his children but that doesn’t give him the right to have sex with them. You can carry this argument to a disgustingly long way.
What the same-sex rights movement is all about is forcing people to accept same-sex sexuality or pay a heavy price – in one case $135,000 for not baking a cake for a same-sex wedding.
