That’s right folks, we now have a Democrat Senator trying to tell us he wasn’t really lying because “everyone knew” what he was saying. Democrat Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) tried hard on Sunday to make the President out to be inarticulate. Instead, she just ended up sounding like any other politician looking for an angle. First, she tries to say that everyone knew what the President meant. Then she plays his lie off as a good thing because we shouldn’t have “bad” insurance anyway.
That’s what it always comes down to isn’t it? Our politicians know what’s best for us and we don’t. It’s a good thing that we lose our insurance because of Obamacare, because the Obamacare versions will be so much better for us.
Man, we are lucky we have these politicians looking out for us or we’d all be screwed. (Massive Amount of Sarcasm.)
ABC’s Martha Raddatz: Did you feel misled by Obama?
Senator Gillibrand: He should’ve just been more specific. Because the point is, if you’re being offered a terrible health care plan, that the minute you get sick you’re going to have to go into bankruptcy, those plans should never be offered.
Martha Raddatz: So were you misled?
Senator Gillibrand: No, we all knew. The whole point of the plan is to cover things people need, like preventive care, birth control, pregnancy. How many women, the minute they get pregnant, might risk their coverage. How many women paid more because of their gender, because they might get pregnant. Those are the reforms.
He may not have lied to you Senator Gillibrand but he lied to the rest of America, and so did you and the rest of your party minions who told us we could keep our insurance. If Obama wasn’t specific enough – what happened to all these Democrat Liars?
We can take care of ourselves, Senator. We don’t need you, or anyone else in Washington, D.C. to tell us what is best for us or our families.
