Obamacare Navigators Tell People to Break Law and Defraud Taxpayers

A few years back the folks at Project Veritas uncovered malfeasance at several major ACORN offices that proved there was a culture of corruption at the government subsidized “community organization.” The downfall of ACORN was a huge problem for the Democrats, and it fed the popularity of the emerging Tea Party organizations. Average Americans who wouldn’t normally be very politically motivated were suddenly thrust into political activism because of their disgust at the idea that the federal government would be paying millions of dollars to such a corrupt group.

Since then, Project Veritas has had a few more important investigations, but the latest one may be their most important.

Their undercover cameras captured Obamacare Navigators counseling people to lie about themselves and their circumstances in order to get better care and cheaper prices. The Navigators had no problem telling the people they were working with to defraud taxpayers in order to get themselves a better deal.

Whenever you mix non-profits with government work, this is what happens. The left spends so much time worrying about the separation of church and state, when the real danger comes from politically active nonprofits who take millions of dollars from the government (I’m talking to you, Planned Parenthood). We the taxpayer are subsidizing the liberal agenda, and it’s a part of the reason we keep losing these political battles.
