What We’re Reading November 4, 2015

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading, Wednesday, November 4, 2015.

The Jeb Bush campaign isn’t dead… yet. However, Jeb does continue to demonstrate that he just doesn’t understand the real problem in Washington, D.C.

Marco Rubio continues to win supporters and detractors with each new day of the campaign. In Bloomberg Politics, they worry that Rubio’s past missteps on immigration could continue to haunt his campaign, while Jonah Goldberg argues that a Ted Cruz/Marco Rubio GOP ticket would be unstoppable.

What happens next is unknowable. But it’s ever more plausible that the race will come down to these two Cuban Americans.

You can see the pincher movement unfolding, with Rubio, the rebellious establishmentarian, and Cruz, the resume-building outsider, clearing out opponents in their strategic theater. And then, when one defeats the other, choosing his opponent as his running mate to unify a party at war with itself, ultimately pitting Hillary Rodham Clinton against “los hermanos Cubanos.”

This uncertainty in the GOP race is causing much consternation and concern within the GOP establishment.

Listen, the media has certainly been terrible in covering the GOP presidential primary, but the candidates are now overcorrecting with their debate demands.

Now that Paul Ryan (R-WI) is the Speaker of the House, which direction will he lead the House? Will he move left towards the Chamber of Commerce or right towards small government and the free market?

The Hungarian Prime Minister is accusing liberal billionaire George Soros of undermining freedom and stoking the Muslim refugee crisis.

What happens after the Benghazi scandal and the email scandal?
