We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!
It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.
So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Saturday, October 3, 2015.
Whoa! The latest Pew Poll has Jeb Bush down to only 4% support!
On the heels of the horrible shooting in Oregon on Thursday, we thought we’d pass on a message from the local authorities there – forget the shooter and remember the hero who saved the day. It seems that the Oregon shooter was a bigot who hated Christians:
The gunman, while reloading his handgun, ordered the students to stand up if they were Christians, Boylan told her family.
“And they would stand up and he said, ‘Good, because you’re a Christian, you’re going to see God in just about one second,'” Boylan’s father, Stacy, told CNN, relaying her account.
“And then he shot and killed them.”
In the wake of the shooting, the same old tired liberal gun control zealots will come crawling out of the woodwork to demand that our freedom be taken away. Sadly, gun control could never stop such senseless violence. Just a day after the shooting in Oregon, there was a shooting near Sydney, Australia where two people were killed. Australia has some of the strictest gun control laws in the world.
Hillary Clinton is finally saying something about policy – she’s begun campaigning for the Obama administration to institute a no-fly zone in Syria.
Why are we so “obsessed” with Donald Trump? This was supposed to be Republicans’ best chance to nominate a real fighter for small government. Then along came Donald Trump.
Here’s your quick and easy Clinton email scandal checklist.
