We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!
It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.
So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Wednesday October 9, 2013.
President Obama says he’s willing to negotiate if the GOP give the Democrats everything they want, first.
The brilliant Victor Davis Hanson writes that today’s liberals are nothing like true classical liberals… today’s liberals are Medieval in nature.
The Republicans didn’t sabotage the Obamacare exchanges… Obama did.
Is the messy Obamacare rollout proving the GOP right about the government shutdown?
Have you heard what Harry Reid would like to see happen with the debt limit? The Senate Majority Leader would like a bill to fund government that increases the debt limit by over a trillion dollars. Yeah, that says “trillion.”
Newt Gingrich thinks the Republicans are in a far better position to win on this shutdown than they were back in the mid-1990s with President Clinton. The recent polling shows that Democrats have not gotten the upper hand in this budget showdown.
Uh-oh, there’s a problem in Maryland with the Obamacare exchange. “For the time being, doctors and other providers are not yet available in Maryland Health Connection; therefore, if you choose to search for them on the website, you will receive a message that “no doctors are found” message.”
The GOP has a real opportunity during this government shutdown to prove their case to the American people, and they’re just not getting it done.
The Obama administration has been denying mass to Catholic soldiers.
Another terrible case of the Common Core…
A recent CBS news report ran the story of a man who tried for more than a week to sign up for Obamacare… with no luck.
