What We’re Reading July 14, 2015

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Tuesday, July 14, 2015.

Here’s a memo to Hillary Clinton: ‘You’re Still the Problem!’

The media continues to wonder if Donald Trump is for real. Meanwhile, conservatives are trying to schedule an intervention for GOP voters considering a vote for Donald Trump.

Governor Scott Walker had a great starting point in the race for the nomination, but he hasn’t exactly had a great start.

Republican House Majority leader John Boehner (R-OH) blames President Barack Obama for our inaction on immigration.

“He’s stirred up the American people in such a way that it would almost be impossible to do immigration reform, given the environment that we’re dealing with. I want to do immigration reform and the president knows it. I asked the president about a year ago, gave him some ideas about things that should happen if he wanted to do immigration reform, and some things that he shouldn’t do. Well, the president didn’t take my advice. And he doubled down on the executive orders that, frankly, far exceeded his authority, and the courts have got him stopped. He’s really poisoned the well.”

Climate Scientists have recently issued dueling and conflicting warnings about the coming climate patterns. One groups says that we should prepare for another mini-ice age as the sun goes into a dormant period over the next few years; the other group says that we should prepare for massive flooding as the world heats up another degree or so!

It’s U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts v. Texas Supreme Court Justice Don Willett on a matter of old case law.
