It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Thursday, July 9, 2015.

 

China’s stock-market is unraveling and many observers say that it is a far more terrifying development than the recent collapse in Greece.

Trading was halted at the New York Stock Exchange on Wednesday morning because of technological problems, forcing the longest shut down in several years.

The House just voted to ban Confederate flags at federal cemeteries. What that might mean for soldiers who fought for the Confederacy is that their flag will no longer be posted on their graves.

The Confederate flag flying at the Capitol in Columbia, South Carolina is likely to soon be pulled down as well. In the aftermath of the shootings at Mother Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, members of both political parties are now calling for the flag to be put away.

Donald Trump is going ALL-IN in New Hampshire and that should be very worrisome for the rest of the GOP field.

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker (R-WI) is about to become the 15th GOP candidate to enter the Presidential race, and he is already setting his sights on the supposed frontrunners – Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio.

Liberals are double-minded when it comes to religion in the public square. They hate it until it suits their purpose… then they think it should be mandatory.

A teenager was sentenced to five years in prison for giving an “intimidating look” at a corrections officer.
