What We’re Reading March 28, 2015

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Saturday, March 28, 2015.

Trey Gowdy informs America that Hillary Clinton did indeed wipe her servers clean once she realized that the government might be coming to read what she wrote!

Jeb Bush seems to be working very hard to woo evangelical conservatives into his camp. The problem? All of that “wooing” is coming from behind closed doors and out of the sight of media. Bush doesn’t seem to want to be seen with the very social conservatives he desperately needs, if he wants to be the GOP nominee in 2016.

Jeb Bush is the political poster child of the dance that moderate politicians have to do with Israel. They want to stand with Israel, but they don’t want to stand to close.

Some Republican insiders are worried about the possibility that Ohio Governor John Kasich might try to jump into the 2016 Presidential milieu.

Good Riddance “Dirty” Harry Reid.

The Bowe Bergdahl disaster is a big deal and the Obama team is praying you don’t realize it.

The scourge of liberalism on campus is (thankfully) dying.

“White privilege.” “Trigger warnings.” “Rape culture.” All of this (and much else) has turned academia into a bizarre, Orwellian simulacrum of itself. And not only that, but the radicalism has migrated outward into the broader culture, too. It’s the kind of insanity we haven’t seen in America since the bad old days of the early 1970s.

The good news is that these sorts of perversions always burn themselves out-they’re too untethered to reality. Eventually people realize that the radicalism is really about just one thing: power.  And once people begin to challenge the dogmas, they collapse in a cascade. Because as they lose their power to exact a price for criticism, they attract more of it.
