It seems as though the official Hillary Clinton 2016 campaign for the White House is off and running as candidate Clinton seems awfully focused on attacking the GOP Congress. While the Clinton campaign may seem like an inevitability, that doesn’t mean she’s going to have any easy ride to the Democrat nomination. Clinton faces some major hurdles to overcome just to win the nomination, say nothing of the actual Presidential election race.
The eminent political prognosticator, Larry Sabato of the University of Virginia, sees a Chris Christie run faltering, even as Marco Rubio continues to rise among the ranks of serious candidates.
If there is a weakness with Scott Walker, it may be that he plays too nice with the establishment. Timothy Carney puts it like this, “Walker will stand up to the other guys. For ‘our guys,’ he rolls over.
In foreign policy circles there has always been a lot of talk about Chinese aggression, but some are starting to wonder if there’s actually any “bite” to China’s “bark.”
Last week many of the most important news publications were caught up with a new study that found conservatives “report” being happier, but liberals “display” happiness more. The extremely frivolous nature of scientific reports on politics is getting ridiculous.
