What We’re Reading February 3, 2015
We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!
It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.
So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Tuesday February 3, 2015.
Governor Chris Christie (R-NJ) got in a bit of trouble Monday when he said that some vaccinations should be up to the parents and not be mandated by the state. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) was quick to defend Christie on Tuesday – even taking it a step further by saying “MOST” vaccinations should be left up to the parents.
Now that Mitt Romney is out, Jeb Bush (R-FL) becomes the clear favorite of the establishment GOP (mostly because he’s not as repulsive to the base as Chris Christie is), but Jeb has some major issues with the grassroots, as well as the folks on the talk radio circuit.
Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) may see an opening in the race for the GOP nomination for President, and he’s starting to make his move.
Rubio gathered more than 300 donors and supporters in Miami last weekend, telling them to “prepare for a presidential campaign,” according to one staff member in attendance.
“I think he’s much closer to running than he was a month ago,” said another source close to Rubio who was at the event. “He sounds like a guy who’s getting to run for president…He wants to be in this fight. The fire in the belly is there and he thinks he can win.”
Obamacare has some pretty disgusting incentives forcing low-income earners to work even harder than they already do.
I wonder if the President still thinks of ISIS as a JV team? I hope not, because they’ve now gotten a foothold in Libya!
Why is marijuana STILL illegal in California?
