Conservatives Support a Free and Safe Israel while Liberals Support our Enemies

Congressman Jim Bridenstine (R-OK) took to Facebook recently to show his continued support for Israel and for the upcoming speech that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will be giving to a joint session of Congress in March.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is schedule to address Congress in March. At a time when Israel is facing threats from multiple enemies, the support for Israel in the United States must be unwavering.

As one such expression of support, I personally delivered a letter to Israel’s Embassy in Washington inviting him to visit Oklahoma.

I’m well aware that the Prime Minister’s schedule is unlikely to allow travel to Oklahoma in the near future. However, I want the Prime Minister and the people of Israel to know that Americans across our nation and party lines are enthusiastic and immovable in their support for Israel.

It seems that only the conservatives in Congress seem willing to stand with Israel in this day and age. Even with almost constant antagonism from the Islamic world, the liberals in Washington continue to mistreat and demean our Israeli allies. It is simply disgusting behavior.

Israel is the only western democracy in the region. Israel is the only nation espousing principles of freedom and fraternity in the region. Israel is the only nation in the region to support minority rights, liberties and protections…

BenjaminNetanyahuAnd yet liberals constantly side with the violent enemies of Israel.

Whether it is the way that liberals stand with the Palestinian terrorists who launch almost constant attacks at the innocent civilians living in Israel, or the way that they glorify the leaders of groups like Hamas, Hezbollah, and the PLO, liberals are constantly undermining Israel while supporting the radical and evil agenda of the Islamic world – which seeks to wipe Israel from the Earth and the Jewish people from memory.

Thankfully we have leaders like Jim Bridenstine who are willing to stand in the gap and support our allies, even when it seems that the entire Democrat Party is against them.

Read what the Congressman had to say in a recent press release and then check out the letter that he delivered to Prime Minister Netanyahu inviting him to visit Oklahoma.

nuclear iranIsraeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will address a joint session of Congress in early March. The Prime Minister’s visit comes as Israel faces grave threats from sworn enemies on its borders and Iran’s ongoing, unimpeded nuclear weapons development and missile delivery program. Support for Israel within the United States has always been strong, consistent and bipartisan. Israel shares our values and is our closest ally in the Middle East. Israel’s security and our own are inseparable.

It’s important that America demonstrate the breadth and depth of its unwavering support for the Israeli people in every way possible.

As one such expression of support, this week I personally delivered a letter to Israel’s Embassy in Washington. My letter is an invitation to Prime Minister Netanyahu to visit Oklahoma while he is in the United States. I’m well aware that the Prime Minister’s schedule is unlikely to allow travel to Oklahoma in March.  However, I want the Prime Minister and the people of Israel to know that Americans all across our nation and of both political parties are enthusiastic and immovable in their support for Israel.

I’m confident that the Prime Minister will be given a warm welcome by the U.S. Congress. I look forward to a time when Prime Minister Netanyahu and Israeli Ambassador Ron Dermer can visit Oklahoma and experience a truly remarkable outpouring of support for Israel.
