He’s done it again. Barack Obama released five more Guantanamo Bay Prisoners overnight.
The New York Times reports:
The United States transferred five detainees from the military prison at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, to Kazakhstan, the Defense Department announced late Tuesday. It was the last in a flurry of year-end moves as President Obama sought to fulfill his promise to close the American-run prison.
The five former detainees — three Yemenis and two Tunisians — are “free men” for all intents and purposes after the transfer, a senior official in the Obama administration said. Officials declined to disclose the security assurances reached between the United States and Kazakhstan or detail how the men would be prevented from returning to battlefields in Afghanistan or Pakistan.
With the move, 28 detainees have been transferred this year from Guantánamo to other countries, including Uruguay and Afghanistan, administration officials said.
It is the biggest number since 2009, when Mr. Obama assumed office and began trying to make good on his campaign promise to close the prison, which top administration officials have characterized as a blight on the country’s international standing. There are 127 prisoners at Guantánamo.
According to the Daily Mail, the men were arrested in Pakistan after the September 11, 2001 attacks.
The Three Yemen men are identified by the DM as, “Asim Thabit Abdullah Al-Khalaqi, who is about 46; Muhammad Ali Husayn Khanayna, who is about 36; and Sabri Mohammad al Qurashi, about 44.” The online magazine also reported that the Tunisians were, “49-year-old Adel Al-Hakeemy, and Abdallah Bin Ali al Lufti, who military records show is about 49.”
All of this comes as the Obama administration has put up a reward of $5 million for Islamic terrorist Ibrahim al-Rubaysh, who was released from Guantanamo in 2006 by then President George W. Bush. This year, al-Rubaysh openly called for Muslims to attack the United States.
In 2013, it was reported that five high profile Gitmo detainees were released with hardly a peep from the media. Additionally, Obama traded five top Taliban leaders for American deserter Bowe Bergdahl. As soon as one of those men landed in Qatar, (a real threat that that US continues to have alliances with), he was already talking jihad against the US.
Following the release of Bergdahl, within days, the Obama administration released a dozen jihad terrorists from a US military prison in Afghanistan. You know, the place he just said is “not going to be a source of terrorist attacks again.”
Congressional investigators determined that the Pentagon broke the law when it swapped Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl for five Taliban leaders. Yet, nothing has been done to Barack Obama, Chuck Hagel, Eric Holder or anyone in a position of authority. Not one article of impeachment has been drafted! All we have heard from elected representatives is rhetoric.
Almost 30 prisoners of Gitmo have been released this year. Just under 130 prisoners remain.
As Obama and company continue to put the United States in danger, the US Congress, for the most part, seems to be complicit by not holding him accountable and bringing justice down upon him and his administration. We have documented Obama’s lies, cronyism and criminal acts and have even made the case for treason, yet members of Congress don’t seem to care except by giving us more talk without resolve.
Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed. –Isaiah 56:1
Instead of bringing justice down on the terrorists or the administration, the American taxpayer has footed the bill for lavish facilities, including a $750,000 soccer field and a $65 million school. Our government has also accommodated Islamic worship, which is the source of the terrorism.
It’s beyond the time to administer justice to this criminal in the White House and to all of his accomplices in his administration and Congress. Demand it America!
