Former Military Leader says Putin is “Al Sharpton with Nukes”

Former US Army Lt. Colonel Ralph Peters had a long and illustrious career in the US Army, and he’s parlayed his vast wealth of military and political knowledge into a paying job with Fox News. It was in this capacity as a Fox News contributor where he recently said one of the funniest, yet true, things I’ve heard in a while.

Here’s what Peters said…

“Putin is going to be the head of state in Russia long after Obama has been consigned to the ash heap of history. Putin is suffering a setback, but he’s not a Washington milquetoast who just quits. He’s in this for the long-term.

If you follow the Russian media, he has created an alternative reality for the Russian people. He is sort of Al Sharpton with nukes, creating this cult of victimhood, victimhood, victimhood for the Russian people.”

That’s right… Putin is “Al Sharpton with Nukes!”

Colonel Peters also goes on to tell President Obama to be careful taking “victory laps” in his dealing with Putin, because this is likely not the last we’ve heard from the Russian dictator. President Obama has missed the mark enough times that he probably shouldn’t speak out about foreign policy problems too quickly, lest he look foolish… again.

Sharpton with Nukes.

Just brilliant.
