What We’re Reading November 19, 2014

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Wednesday November 19, 2014.

Well, that’s it then. Senate Democrats have killed the Keystone XL Pipeline, which means that Republicans won’t have another chance to pass it until the new Congress in January. This should effectively kill Senator Mary Landrieu’s (D-LA) hopes of being reelected in December. Here’s the Roll Call of the vote if you’re interested…

Hmmm. It seems that even though they just reelected her House minority leader, some Democrats are still really upset with Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).

Liberal Constitutional scholar Jonathan Turley will represent the GOP in their suit against the President for his decision to abuse the Constitution and overstep his power with respect to his implementation of Obamacare. This is a VERY BIG deal.

Republicans need to stop pretending to be anxious about Government shutdowns. Shutting down the government is a good thing… in fact, it can be a VERY good thing.

Um, okay. This is just more evidence that our liberal colleges and universities just can’t handle diversity of opinion. Apparently, schools all over the country are taking down videos of Jonathan Gruber’s many speeches, roundtables and lectures! Can you say CONSPIRACY?

Al Sharpton may be in a lot of trouble very soon… and the New York Times has the story.

A Virginia woman may soon be heading to prison for her support of Islamic terrorism.

Greece is still having some BIG economic problems.

Where the polls went wrong.
